A multi-platform, multi-year broadcast arrangement is now announced by the Canadian Hockey League (CHL).
“The 2021-21 season offers a lot of excitement because of our new broadcasting agreement with CBC, an iconic brand in Canada,” stated Dan Mackenzie, President of the Canadian Hockey League. We look forward to working with the CBC to bring the finest from coast to coast to our amazing fans.”
In 2022, each connected CHL team’s champions and host team will compete in a season-end competition with their Memorial Cup.Chris Wilson, CBC Chief Executive Operating Officer, said, “We are proud to partnerships with the CHL, and we are excited to share the Canadian junior hockey’s excitement with the nation’s fans this autumn. This relationship with the CHL helps to promote this dedication by providing fans with more opportunities to celebrate their local club. The cooperation with the CHL will be the main focus of this initiative.
