According to a statement released Tuesday, New York Giants offensive coordinator Jason Garrett was fired following the team’s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Garrett was relieved of his duties as offensive coordinator by the Giants following Monday’s 30-10 loss in Tampa.

After his contract as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys expired at the end of the 2019 season, the 55-year-old joined the Giants in 2020.

Following Monday’s loss to the Buccaneers, the Giants are currently at the bottom of the NFC East standings with three wins and seven losses.

It comes on the heels of a losing season in 2020 when the team finished with a 6-10 record.

Following Monday’s loss, Giants head coach Joe Judge blamed the team’s problems on insufficient coaching.

“You can write it down tonight.” “Did you get that?” According to the judge.

“You can write it tonight.” Players must execute. Isn’t that their job? It is our responsibility to educate them. It is their responsibility to go out and execute.

“However, we must ensure that they are placed in a position to succeed.” By the way, that has to be consistent. So go ahead and scribble that down. I’m not going to argue about it.”
