After sustaining an injury, Pakistan team management has announced that Fakhar Zaman will miss the second T20I. Fakhar Zaman has been ruled out of the second T20I, which is scheduled to be played today (Monday) in Johannesburg, due to a mild allergy to his left leg.
Fakhar was in sublime form in the ODI series against the Proteas, scoring two centuries in a row, and he continued his great form in the T20I series, scoring 27 runs in the first match to support Pakistan to a four-wicket victory.
Fakhar has been substituted by Sharjeel Khan, a hard-hitting opener who will make his return to the national team starting line-up after a four-year absence, having last played an international match in 2017.
Pakistan is expected to make just one shift to their starting lineup, with the majority of the line-up remaining unchanged. With captain Babar Azam at one down, Sharjeel Khan and Mohammad Rizwan are expected to open the innings.
