After the Bangladesh or West Indies series, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will most likely advertise coaching positions for the Pakistan cricket team.
According to media reports, the cricket board has decided to keep the interim coaching staff in place for the time being and to invite applications for head coach, batting, and bowling consultants following the two back-to-back series.
According to reports, the board is looking to hire a foreign head coach who can instill fearlessness in the national team and help them play an aggressive brand of cricket.
Saqlain Mushtaq, Matthew Hayden, and Vernon Philander were named head coaches by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Batting and bowling consultants for the T20 World Cup 2021, respectively. Hayden declined to extend his contract for the back-to-back series against Bangladesh and the West Indies, but Saqlain and Philander agreed. The two are currently with the Pakistan cricket team in Dhaka.
The three-match T20I series between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be followed by a two-match Test series, the first of which will be played in Chittagong (26-30 November) and the second in Dhaka (4-8 December).
