According to Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan, Prime Minister Imran Khan was appalled by Dr. Nauman Niaz’s arrogance and stated that this is no way to treat Pakistan’s national heroes. He admired Shoaib’s efforts to resolve the issue despite being humiliated in front of the entire nation. He stated that no one has the authority to ask anyone to leave the show, and he should have paused for a hundred seconds before insulting Shoaib. The altercation between Shoaib and Dr. Nauman occurred during the post-match discussion following Pakistan’s stunning five-wicket victory over New Zealand.

Shoaib’s condescending tone apparently irritated Dr. Nauman, who told him to leave the show because he was being rude and over-smart. Despite his surprise at Dr. Nauman’s statement, Shoaib attempted to resolve the situation by calming the situation and asking Dr. Nauman to apologize. Shoaib repeatedly demanded that Dr. Nauman apologize, but Dr. Nauman refused. As a result, Shoaib decided to resign from PTV on live television, explaining that he had been humiliated and embarrassed in front of the entire nation. The two personalities have since been suspended from on-air activities, and the PTV network has formed a committee to investigate the incident further. Shoaib revealed that he has already resigned, so it is pointless for PTV’s committee to remove him from the air. Dr. Nauman, on the other hand, has remained silent on the subject since his suspension.
