On the 9th of June, Pakistan Super League (PSL) resumed its sixth edition after a breach of over 3 months, after a rise in the number of cases between managing staff and players in Covid in March.

Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United face each other in the tournament resumed.

The result pushed Lahore to the top of the points table, with Karachi Kings standing behind them right now.

The final match between Quetta Gladiators and the Multan Sultans was played in Karachi prior to PSL kicking off, where Quetta defeated Multan and claimed her first tournament victory.
