Sindh won their third consecutive match in the National T20 Cup 2021, defeating Balochistan handily in the competition’s ninth edition. Sindh maintained their lead in the National T20 Cup points standings, while Balochistan remained in fifth place despite a significant drop in their net run rate.
Sindh’s batters ripped apart Balochistan’s bowling attack in the first innings, scoring 175/4. Sarfaraz Ahmed, the captain, top scored with 41 runs off 25 balls, with Sharjeel Khan, Shan Masood, and Saud Shakeel also contributing significantly to the total.
Balochistan, on the other side, were bowled out for 98 runs by a powerful Sindh bowling team. Shahnawaz Dahani and Zahid Mehmood took four and three wickets, respectively, from the Balochistan batting line-up. Abdul Wahid Bangalzai, a young batsman, top scored with 29 runs, while just two other batters reached double digits.
